How Did You Begin Your Career?
I have wanted to be a journalist since I was 6 years old and could often be found “broadcasting” the nightly news live from my mom’s dresser mirror. I later became highly involved in my high school’s newspaper and broadcasting programs and furthered my training by studying magazine and broadcast journalism at Northwestern University’s prestigious Medill School of Journalism.
I got my start in the real world by interning at New York, InStyle, Seventeen, and Maxim magazines, as well as the New York Daily News.
What Are Some of Your Favorite Food Indulgences?
I’m in the “live to eat” camp, so delicious food brings me tremendous joy.
There’s nothing I love more than a fresh baguette, a warm croissant, fluffy pancakes, a slice (or two) of pizza, or a big bowl of super premium ice cream.
What Are Your Top 3 Travel Destinations?
I’ve been lucky enough to visit some beautiful countries all around the world, but Santorini, Positano, and the French Riviera
